This year, Riley Blake Designs decided to show our gratitude by partnering with Quilts of Valor in honoring our local veterans with handmade quilts. After recently becoming an American citizen, our own Jina Barney was looking for ways to show her gratitude. After a chance meeting with Mary Fons, of Quilts of Valor, Jina decided this would be the perfect way to give back. Hey y'all! It's Melissa from Melly Sews and today I'm going to share how to make easy and quick beanie hats. I used Idle Wild Knits to make these hats. You'll need 1/2 - 2/3 yard because the knit stretches selvedge to selvedge. And these seriously take like 10 minutes each to sew, making them a perfect last minute gift.
