Collection Preview – Petal Song

Petal Song is inspired by, and dedicated to, my late grandmother, Maxine. Her love of roses, vintage collectibles, cranberry and mauve, along with her signature Fuzzy Navel drink are harmonized in this collection; harmonized, as they were in life by her love, and, I can only hope, in a manner that nearly recreates her delicate touch and grace while properly paying tribute to her memory.

What is old can be made new; sometimes it takes a cocktail to hear the antique melody of this spring’s growth, and other times you can hear it in the stillness of a pattern such as these.

We are expecting Petal Song to arrive in September 2023! Already dreaming of what you’ll create with it? Be sure to check with your favorite local or online quilt shop to see if they will be stocking this collection! Are you a shop owner? This collection is available for wholesale orders now!

Designer: Corri Sheff

Corri Sheff is a surface pattern designer and illustrator. She draws inspiration from nature, vintage botanical illustrations and my garden. To her, beauty is found in the strange and unconventional, from the creepiest of crawlies to a knotty tree. Her designs aim for elegance and sophistication, with a touch of whimsy. As an avid sewist, she also like to make garments, quilts, bags, and everything in between. She lives near Portland, Oregon, with her husband, daughter, two dogs, two cats, and two very vocal goldfish. Her work has been published in Nebo literary journal and shown in ‘A Little Bit of Everything’ art show at Unurban Gallery in Santa Monica, CA.
