I love the great outdoors! One of my husband’s favorite things to do is to take me on wonderful adventures up in the mountains of central Utah. The beautiful scenery and the fresh mountain air filled with the scent of pine trees is something that truly makes me happy.
Each fall, the whole family bundles up to make our traditional trek up the mountain to cut a fresh Christmas tree. The Woodsman collection was inspired by these mountainous adventures as it includes a fun array of outdoor motifs including bears, raccoons, mountains, and pine trees.
I’m hoping that you enjoy making projects with Woodsman and that it reminds you of a cozy trip up into the mountains for some fresh air.

Lori Whitlock grew up on a family farm in South Dakota. As a young girl she learned to love sewing and all things creative from her mother. She began quilting at age 15. She attended BYU where she received her degree in graphic design. After many years of experience in the design industry, Lori found her true love developing product for the crafting industry.
Lori currently designs scrapbook paper and embellishments, die cutting files, digital scrapbooking files, and embroidery files for the crafting industry. Lori is thrilled to be partnered with Riley Blake to bring outstanding fabric designs to you. Her hope is that these fabrics will help you create heirlooms that will tie your family together for generations.
