Designer Flannel – Pajama Party Pants

Hey y’all! It’s Hilary of @byhilaryjordan back again to share one of my recent makes. I had the joy to work with the Riley Blake Designer Flannel to make my youngest son some new pajama pants. I worked with the Flannel Nice Ice Baby Main Navy print and I used the Peek-a-Boo Pattern Shop Pajama Party Pants pattern.

Riley Blake Flannel is absolutely divine. It has a soft hand, beautiful colors, and it does not fray haphazardly like some other flannels I have worked with in the past. Like all garment sewing, it is very important to pre-wash the flannel prior to starting your project.

When making the pajama pants, I used the Nice Ice Baby Snowflakes Teal for the pockets as a fun little surprise. ❄ This pattern stitched together in a matter of hours. I just love a quick and easy garment make.

The Nice Ice Baby print on this flannel is the absolute cutest. My favorite animals are the penguins and Sam loves the narwhal. Riley Blake Designer Flannel is available now from your favorite local quilt shop, and I highly recommend making some cozy pajama pants for the upcoming holiday season.
