Sneak Peek! – Hope in Bloom

We’re excited to share another sneak peek with you today! Hope in Bloom, designed by Katherine Lenius, is almost here and we can’t wait!

Riley Blake Designs is honored to partner with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation by donating $10,000 regardless of sales to advance breast cancer research. We believe research is the only way we will find a cure for breast cancer.

When asked about the inspiration behind her designs, Katherine says: “Hope in Bloom gathers up all the wishes I would share with those who have faced breast cancer and ties a pink ribbon around a bouquet of hope, strength, faith, courage, and support. Their perseverance is an inspiration to me. Through flowers and butterflies I hope these images and words of encouragement bring comfort and some joy as we fight to find a cure.”

What beautiful words and a worthy cause! The Hope in Bloom collection us unabashedly pink, pink, and more pink! You’ll find inspiring pink text, ribbons, florals, butterflies and even plaids.

Here’s a closer look at the Main print, which features lovely little floral sprays tied with ribbons that contain words such as “strength, hope, faith, and courage.” The Main print will be available in Pink (seen here), Blush, and White.

The Wings of Hope print features delicate butterflies in motion. Butterflies contain many types of symbolism, one of which is metamorphosis and new birth. Beautiful! Wings of Hope will be available in White (seen here), Blush, and Hot Pink.

We are in love with the charming little Plaid print in this fabric line! It works as a lovely blender or supporting print, and adds a sweet, timeless feel to the collection. Plaid will be available in Pink (seen here), Blush, and Hot Pink.

In addition to the beautiful fabrics in this collection, Katherine designed two fabulous fabric panels. This Hope in Bloom panel measures 36″ x WOF, and features four sections. Leave the panel as-is, and add your own border treatments to create a larger quilt, or cut out the sections to use as oversized quilt blocks, or sew them into pillows and tote bags! The Hope in Bloom panel will be available in Pink (seen here), and White. Coming soon, we will offer a free quilt pattern on our website, and it is absolutely gorgeous. You won’t want to miss it, so check our Free Patterns link often.

This second panel is called Quest for a Cure, and it’s a showstopper! The panel measures 24″ x WOF and features a giant patchwork signature breast cancer ribbon. We will offer a free quilt pattern on our website featuring this panel, so stay tuned!

Need more project ideas? This gorgeous Hope in Bloom quilt pattern designed by Jessica Dayon beautifully showcases the prints and sentiment of this fabric line. The finished quilt measures 81 1/2″ x 81 1/2″.

The great news is that this amazing quilt will be available as a boxed kit in September! The kit will contain the Hope in Bloom quilt pattern as well as fabric for the quilt top and binding.

The Hope in Bloom collection doesn’t stop at fabric and quilt kits. We have a fantastic selection of accessories and notions to go with it. We’re super excited about these 30 oz. Insulated Tumblers. On one side is the patchwork breast cancer ribbon, and on the other side is text that reads, “Believe there is hope for a cure.” The tumblers will be available in August.

Are you a puzzler? This 1,000 piece Hope in Bloom jigsaw puzzle showcases a gorgeous patchwork quilt hanging inside a rustic tunnel. The Hope in Bloom puzzle will be available in August.

In addition to puzzles and tumblers, you’ll find canvas zipper pouches, enamel charms, misting spray bottles, tote bags, embroidery scissors, and cutting mats.

We can’t wait to start creating with Hope in Bloom! We’re dreaming up snuggly quilts, tote bags, pillows and more! What will you make with Hope in Bloom?
