Support Group Quilt Along – Week 3

Hello! it’s Jamie from Sew Brainy Designs back with WEEK 3 of the the Support Group Quilt Along! I’m sewing along with my friends over at The Fat Quarter Shop to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month all October!

The event features the adorable Support Group Quilt Pattern by Riley Blake Designer Lori Holt whose mom survived breast cancer. In case you missed the announcement post, you can read it HERE.

For my quilt, I’m using these 12 brights from the Riley Blake basics line Blossom by Christopher Thompson! They are Fuchsia, Wisteria, Raspberry, Apricot Blush, Cayenne, Orange, Honey, Emerald City, Green Smoothie, Peacock, Medium Blue, and Denim.

Here were my bright and happy WEEK #1 and WEEK #2 blocks.

Now for this week’s blocks! These are the three BRA BLOCK #3 designs that will go on the third row. They are a bit simpler than the others because they only use one accent fabric color. This is the orange bra.

This is the medium blue bra.

And this is the raspberry bra.

Loving the brightness!

I love the single color with the black and white blossom background too!

Here are all my blocks together so far! So fun!!!

I’m also doing a special little project with the new Strength in Pink line from RBD! You can read more about the fabric HERE.

How adorable is this bra block #3? More butterflies!

I had fun fussy cutting this one! Look at the little ribbon in the center!

Here are blocks 1-3 together! They look great!

I’ll be working on bra block #4 this week, so I’ll be back to show those off next Friday! Here’s the schedule:
