Sweet Acres – Twinkle Quilt

Hi Quilty Friends! I’m Melanie Call from A Bit of Scrap Stuff (Blog) (Instagram) and I’m excited to share my Twinkle Quilt featuring the newest fabric collection: Sweet Acres designed by Beverly McCullough.

Sweet Acres is a sweet collection of florals, farm life, stripes, and geometric prints in cheerful colors! Such a perfect collection for spring quilting!

I absolutely love to fussy cut fabric prints when quilting! I love choosing a specific pattern such as cute barn animals or florals to be a focus for a quilt block. The fussy cut blocks add extra interest to your quilt and only takes a bit of extra time. When I’m fussy cutting fabric, my favorite tools are: Lori Holt Cute Cuts Trim it Rulers plus the Sue Daley Rotating Cutting mat (both products are produced by Riley Blake Designs)
