Milk, Sugar & Flower is shipping this month. You are going to love the adorable prints in this 30’s inspired line! First, we’d like to introduce you to the designer. Her name is Elea Lutz and she’s just as charming as the fabric she designs …
Nice to meetcha! I’m a print and product designer with a love of sweet, colorful and playful illustrations inspired by my childhood.
Art and creativity have always been a part of my life, but my 9-year career in design includes working as the art director and packaging illustrator for Nostalgia, a toiletries company I launched in 2006. I’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with companies both small and large on a variety of creative projects.
To learn more about this talented (and dare we say darling?) artist, please visit her website at Elealutz.com. You’re going to want to follow her … She’s got some GREAT things in the works including a Christmas line that’s coming in June.
Here’s a little sneak peek!
We can’t wait to make some fun holiday things using Little Joys … So cute!
Now we’ve got some vintage inspired projects to give you some fresh ideas using
Milk, Sugar & Flower ~
Elea’s friend Barbara made this charming romper based on the
Isabella Romper pattern by
ChildhoodTreasures:
The red fabric is from Riley Blake’s cotton solids
YoYos made with scraps from the collection and vintage buttons and cabochons.
Soon to be hairpins or bookmarks …
And here’s one for the boys! These were made by Elea using the red print … PERFECT!
