The star of this quilt is the Gnome for Christmas fabric panel. The panel looks like it is made up of patchwork squares, when in reality it is one 36″ x WOF panel. Brilliant!
The large scale gnome artwork with text on the “quilt blocks” features sayings like, “All Roads Lead Gnome for Christmas,” “Good Tidings of Cocoa & Joy”, and “No Peeking Until Christmas.” Fun!
We are completely smitten with the hilarious gnome border print, which shows mischievous little gnome people wrapping gifts and tangled in Christmas lights. Too cute!
This pattern calls for two strip borders, making the finished quilt approximately 49″ x 56 1/2″. Of course, you can add more borders to make the quilt larger if you want.
We love to have fun with our quilting, and here you can see that along with a basic meandering stitch, our quilter added Christmas lights.
