Back by popular demand is the super bright and fun Wheels 2 collection! Designed by the amazing Deena Rutter, Wheels 2 is in stores and ready to be sewn up into all kinds of cute projects for little transportation enthusiasts.
This collection is available in Cream, Blue and Gray colorways, although all three colorways cross over and coordinate nicely with each other, giving you a multitude of options to work with.
Deena Rutter has been designing with Riley Blake for many years. Her most recent designs being Wheels 2, Happy Haunting, Roots & Wings, and coming soon, Off Shore.
As you have come to expect, we asked Deena some truly hard-hitting questions, and we are happy to say that Deena did not shrink under the pressure:
1. On t.v. I like to binge watch…Jimmy Fallon monologues
2. Favorite song at the moment…“She Used To Be Mine” by Sara Bareilles
3. Do you speak a foreign language…I know “ich weiss nicht” which means “I know nothing” in German. This is about all of the German that I learned on my Study Abroad in Vienna…that, and Brot – Bread. That explains the extra 10 lbs I brought back to the states with me.
4. Strangest thing in your purse…It isn’t that strange, but I always have a reusable bag for groceries and other shopping.
 
5. Favorite Holiday…Christmas! I look forward to the Sub-for-Santa projects we do. This is a tradition my parents started when I was a little girl. It’s what it’s all about, really.
5. On rainy days I like to…Doodle and design in my studio.
6. Do you have any pets…I have 2 dogs – a Brown Boston Terrier-Elsie and a Shi-tzu Poodle-Piper, and a Hedgehog-Skipper.
7. In high school I was…School Historian. People thought I would be perfect because my scrapbooks were cute!
8. Nickname…Some friends call me Dee.
9. PC or Mac…Mac
10. I wish I could…draw pictures and make pretty designs and have them be made into fabric. Wait, I DO! Dreams do come true…
