It has amused me greatly the last few weeks to watch the leaves finish their autumn metamorphosis and winter snow storms blanket the ground all while I’ve been elbow deep in Easter projects! What have you been working on lately? Come let me know over at Snowberry Street!
I saw this Bunny Trail collection by Dani Mogstad and knew it needed to be made into those Easter baskets I’ve been telling myself I need to make for years and years! I used the Olivia’s Baskets pattern from Knot and Thread and chose the medium size for this project. The pattern includes two more helpful sizes. Such a fun, versatile, reversible basket! I also have one in the medium size to hold our Halloween candy and it’s a great size.
You might be thinking, “I already have Easter baskets,” but do yours fold up and store flat and need nothing more than a quick shot of steam from your iron to fluff back to life when you’re ready for your egg hunt? Soft and Stable is the secret behind this fantastic feature. It’s the perfect blend of structure and flexible!
Bunny Trail ships to stores in December, so check your local quilt shop or favorite online shop in the coming weeks! Hoppy sewing, friends!
