Good Morning! It’s Jessica Dayon and today I’d like to share the quilt that I made using Christmas with Scaredy Cat by Amanda Niederhauser.
Amamda’s collections are always so pretty! I’m a cat lover too, like Amanda, so I look forward to them!
I decided to make a quilt called Star Break pattern by Melanie Call for Fort Worth Fabric Studio. I slightly modified the pattern. Instead of making one row stars across the quilt, I made trees and one star.
I think the trees give the quilt the perfect Christmas touch!
This collection has a ton of great prints and I especially love all of the white prints!
I quilted this quilt on my BERNINA Q24 with Qmatic using the Advent pantograph.
For the backing, I used Bee Plaids in Clover Scarecrow. I absolutely love this plaid print! I need to get more of it to stash and use in projects here and there. For the binding, I used the Multi Candy Cane Stripe from the collection.
This was a really fun project to make! And, I’m so happy with the result!
Thank you for following along with me today! I hope this project inspired you. I love sharing what I’m up to with other makers and also hearing about what you are making too! You can find more of my projects on my blog and on Instagram @jessicadayon
