Since I was young, I’ve had a fascination of sorts with the night sky, the bright moon and swirling stars have
always called to me. Sometime last year I learned my astrological sign of Cancer also gets the name Moonchild. After reading more about it, some of my fascination made sense.
This collection is an exploration of what we might encounter if we take a break from the every day and simply look up. In colors pulled straight from the sky, with sunset pinks and purples, midnight blues, and sunrise yellows.

A Chilean who calls Washington state home, Fran of Cotton and Joy has been described as “addicted to creating.” Always doodling or crafting, she first learned to quilt while pregnant with her oldest son in 2014, but it wasn’t until 2018 when she encountered the modern quilting world that she was hooked.
Before starting Cotton and Joy, Fran worked 8 years as a web designer and loves happy, bright colors and has a tendency to stay up way too late reading.
