Today, we are excited to share a quick and easy Four Patch Quilt featuring the brand new Pink fabrics from the FFA® Forever Blue collection.
The National FFA® Organization is a youth leadership organization that makes a positive difference in the lives of young people by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agriculture education. The FFA® Motto is Learning to do, Doing to learn, Earning to live, Living to serve.
This quilt alternates 10″ squares of FFA® fabrics with scrappy 10″ four patch blocks made with coordinating Riley Blake Basics. I used 12 of the FFA® 10″ squares, and 13 of the four patch blocks.
DIARY OF A QUILTER has a fantastic tutorial showing how to make this Four Patch Quilt. There are just a few small differences:
- Amy uses 8 1/2″ blocks. I use 10″ blocks.
- I added a 5″ border.
- My finished throw size quilt measures approximately 60″ square.
This is a fantastic quilt for beginners to learn basic piecing skills.
To make this quilt even more teen-friendly, I backed it with our super soft Mint Minky fabric. The binding is our Mint Confetti Cotton.
Now this quilt is ready for cool nights at the football game or for movie nights with popcorn and friends.
Quick, easy, beginner-friendly, and super cuddly — this quilt is perfect for you FFA® teens!
