Isn’t it gorgeous?! This easy-to-make quilt measures 48″ x 48″ — the perfect size for a baby or lap quilt.
The brightly colored rosettes look as if they are appliquéd onto the black background fabric, but don’t let the intricate designs fool you. This is a perfect beginner-friendly quilt. If you can sew a straight line, you can make this quilt!
The panel itself measures 38″ x 38″. The square shape makes it perfect for making throw and lap sized quilts. Another fun option would be to sew multiple panels together to create one larger quilt.
Gerri created this mockup to show what that would look like. The four panels together make a 68″ x 68″ throw. Beautiful!
For the quilt back, we used the Bahama Blue Gem Stones basic. Notice the beautiful ombré effect that is so stunning when seen on the whole cloth.
