Hi! I’m Julia from Bayhill Studio, and I’m excited to share these fun little Quilted Wallet Folders with you today!
These lovely little folders are both beautiful and functional, and perfect for anyone on handmade gift list!
I used fabric from the Golden Poppies collection by Shealeen Louise. Her artwork is stunning, and I particularly fell in love with the Flowers print, which features bright orange California poppies. You can read about my family’s 1978 poppy fields miracle on my BLOG.
The Wallet Folders come in two sizes: 8″ x 12″ and 6″ x 8″ (these measurements are when the folders are opened and lying flat) — the closed Wallet Folders measure approximately 6″ x 8″ and 4″ x 6″.
When you open the Wallet Folder, you’ll find two zipper pockets. I designed this with zipper tabs so the zipper pull will remain inside the folder when it is closed.
My Wallet Folder pattern calls for mesh, however, you can easily substitute the mesh for vinyl if you plan on storing small items like sewing needles.
I designed these with a slim profile so you can easily stash them in your purse, tote bag or backpack.
