Hi Makers! It’s Lisa Jo of Neverlandstitches back to share with you an interesting new twist on a sweet throw size quilt to make called Ribbon Candy. It was made featuring the new Collection from Tara Reed, Happy at Home.
Happy at Home is filled with darling little birds, flowers, plaids, dots, and stripes. The color pallette is absolutely perfect for spring through fall with aqua, white, gray, salmon, lime and lemon.
I selected three grey prints, two solmon prints, two aqua print and the white dots print as the background for this version of Ribbon Candy. This color combination, has a very Autumnish feel to it.
To me, the columns of blocks give the illusion similar to ribbon candy with its twists and turns. I decided to use Bee’s Cross Stitch in Pebble as the backing of the quilt.
If you’d like to make your own version of Ribbon Candy quilt, pick up the collection of Happy at Home from your favorite quilt shops and the pattern for Ribbon Candy will be available soon in my Etsy Shop.
