This project uses Hush Hush 2 fabrics from various designers. I really loved the prints on these low volume cuts and decided to incorporate them for my Cosmic Dust Quilt by QuiltCakes.

I used Tiny Town, Sashiko, Triangulate, Baby Buttons, Pretzel Party, and Humble Bee from the Hush Hush 2 collection. I paired these with Sparkler in Bear Lake Sparkle and Blossom in Khaki. I love working early in the morning, while I’m enjoying my breakfast sometimes.

Does anyone else quilt and eat? Just make sure you don’t get it on the fabric! The blocks for this quilt just turned out lovely!

Each block is 16″ finished. I made a total of 12 blocks to create a 48″ x 64″ quilt top. I love how the Hush Hush 2 low volumes show up in this quilt – they give the background a subtle difference for each block.

I made a change to the way I wanted the quilt pattern to be presented. Instead of each flower being a different color, I chose to make each flower background different. I’m excited to get this quilt top quilted!

I really enjoyed creating this beautiful piece! For more details on the Hush Hush 2 collection or the other collections I used, visit Riley Blake Designs. For more makes and designs by me, visit www.sewlsister.com or visit me on Instagram.com/hellosewlsister and come say hi!
