It’s Week 4 of PATCHWORK & POODLES Inkling Quilt Along! We are so excited about this quilt along, which features Beauty and the Beast fabric designed by Jill Howarth.
This week we are making the second row of blocks for our Inkling quilt! Here are my blocks. I am using fabric from the Beauty and the Beast collection, designed by Jill Howarth. Aren’t they pretty?
I love the contrast of the bold mustard yellow against the pale blue corner blocks. I love those tiny windows!
My favorite print, the village scene, is used twice in this block. I fussy cut the fun little image of Belle on horseback with the castle in the background for the center square.
Here, the village scene prints are used again, this time paired with the bold pink Fleur-de-lis print.
Our second row is complete! Here is a look at the first two rows sewn together. LOVE this!
Take a look at Eliane’s blocks. She incorporated Christopher Thompson’s Blossom Basics into her quilt design. The Blossom print gives the eye a place to rest and adds a fun pop of color at the same time.
