It’s Week 6 of PATCHWORK & POODLES Inkling Quilt Along! We are so excited about this quilt along, which features Beauty and the Beast fabric designed by Jill Howarth.
This week we are making the fourth and final row of blocks for our Inkling quilt! Here are my blocks. I am using fabric from the Beauty and the Beast collection, designed by Jill Howarth.
I love the blues in this line! I used the Main Blue print, the Light Blue Windows print, and the Cream Floral. Such a sweet combination!
Of course, I could go on and on about this gorgeous Eggplant color! It is a deep, rich purple, and it pairs beautifully with the pinks, blues, and mustard yellow in this fabric line. I fussy cut the center square so it would feature Belle with her book. Fun!
The third block brings together the light pink, mustard, and blue fabrics. Another winning combo!
Here they are together, and don’t they look beautiful?! I used Cream Texture, by Sandy Gervais for the background.
And that’s the fourth row! Take your time this week to enjoy the process — match your seams, press often, and don’t be afraid to unpick and correct any mistakes that crop up. Once you complete your blocks, lay them out and appreciate your work.
Take a look at Eliane’s blocks. She incorporated Christopher Thompson’s Blossom Basics into her quilt design. The Blossom print gives the eye a place to rest and adds a fun pop of color at the same time.
