Have you seen the Penny Rose Majestic Outdoors panels? These are a.may.zing. Seriously. Digitally printed for optimum detail and vibrancy, the majestic outdoors panels pack a big punch!
This gorgeous eagle panel is from the initial release of Majestic Outdoors, and features a soaring eagle against a truly majestic Rocky Mountain backdrop. These panels are perfect for using as a focal point in quilts, or can easily be turned into a large floor pillow, or a super easy wall tapestry. By super easy, I mean, you can have this ready to hang in less than 10 minutes! Such a great way to spruce up a teen bedroom or dorm room. Here’s how you do it:
The selvedge edges on the panel are blank, so you don’t need to touch them at all. Instead take your raw edges and turn them under 1/4″ and press.
Turn under another 1/4″ and press again.
Stitch. And that’s it! Seriously!
If you want to add a personal touch, you could always throw in some simple embroidery like I did here as an example.
To hang, just use Command Spring Clips (especially for dorm rooms), tacks, or you could even sew a channel at the top, insert a dowel, and then hang the dowel using a string or twine, tied at each end of the dowel and hung at the center where it forms a triangle. Easy!
