Today we’re visiting BAYHILL STUDIO, where Julia is sharing the cutest Retro T.V. Quilted placemats featuring fabric from the officially licensed Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood collection.
Julia used reverse appliqué to create these placemat frames, mimicking the look of the old school televisions we used to sit in front of to watch Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood each day. Fun!
This is such a cheery, bright fabric line! We love the patchwork t.v. screen, the narrow straight line quilting, and how the text shows up perfectly on the binding. Very cool! Hop on over to Julia’s BLOG for photos and details about these placemats, and be sure to follow her on Instagram @bayhillstudio for more project ideas and inspiration.
Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood is available now at your favorite local quilt shops and online retailers, so pick up yours today and share your makes with us on Instagram using #misterrogersfabric #rileyblakedesigns #iloverileyblake and tag us @rileyblakedesigns.
