Did you know that March is National Craft Month? To celebrate we decided to whip up an Easter version of our No-Sew Halloween Candy Bowl with some leftover scraps from the Easter Parade collection by The Cottage Mama.
This is such a fun crafting project. All you need is:
A bowl to be your mold (choose your bowl accordingly; we went with a more egg-shaped vase for this one), plastic wrap, foil to protect your work surface (optional), school glue (or modpodge), a crafting paint brush, fabric scraps, a piece of fabric large enough to cover the outside of your bowl, and disposal gloves to keep your hands clean!
While our bowl was drying we decided to use the remaining and smaller scraps to modpodge some plastic Easter Eggs.
Fun, right? You can find the step-by-step instructions from our original tutorial below! The only deviation is that, at the end after the bowl has dried, we cut the edges into triangle to look like a cracked eggshell.
Our cute bowl is all ready to be filled with Easter treats next month. We hope you enjoy this fun scrap-buster! Happy National Craft Month. If you make this project be sure to tag us with #rileyblakedesigns & #rbdnosew.
