Hi there! I can’t believe we are quickly approaching July! I love decorating my home for all the different holiday’s and seasons! So when I saw the new Americana II line, I knew I had to have something made from these lovely and festive prints!
I came up with this simple table topper pattern – that I think perfectly suits these beautiful fabrics. This sews up rather quickly and you could easily finish this project up in a day!
Let’s get started!
Supplies:
6 – assorted fat quarters of Americana II
1/2 yard background fabric
3/8 yard of binding
1/2 yard of backing
Cutting:
For Stars:
Background:
12 – 3″ x 5.5″ rectangles (A)
12 – 3″ x 3″ squares (D)
From assorted fat quarters:
3 – 5.5″ squares (for center of stars) (C)
24 – 3″ x 3″ squares (B)
For stripes:
3 – 3 3/4″ x 10 1/4″ strips (background)
3 – 3 3/4″ x 10 1/4″ strips (red)
3 – 3 3/4″ x 10 1/4″ strips (blue)
Star Block Assembly:
Make 3 star blocks
Stripe Block Assembly:
Final Assembly:
Baste, quilt and bind with your preferred method.
