Oh hello there, it’s Tina from Emily Ann’s Kloset! I’m so glad you stopped by.
I want to share a Christmas/Winter project with you today that you will absolutely fall in LOVE with. When I was a little girl (and back during a time when everyone had a real tree) …. taking our yearly trip to the Christmas tree lot was so exciting.
The smell of fresh pine, searching for just the right tree, twinkle lights hanging from wooden posts and feeling the magic in the air.
The moment I saw this Trees! pattern designed by Amanda at Crazy Mom Quilts it reminded me of those sweet childhood memories.
The simpleness of these trees will add a little touch of modern charm to your home during the holidays. Fun right? Insert the smell of your Holiday Wreath Yankee Candle here.
I chose a variety of Penny Rose Classics in reds, greens, low volume whites and a touch of blue for a little bit of a wintery look.
There are so many amazing holiday themed fabrics out there, but sometimes it’s nice to design your project by colors only.
A little bit of simple goes a long way. Penny Rose & Riley Blake offer such a nice variety of basics ….. you will have so much fun choosing your favorites. Quilty kitty says so.
#create #inspire #bejolly
Amanda’s Tree pattern calls for 20 tree blocks, but I made my quilt a little smaller with 12 blocks.
I hope you have a lot of fun creating some new holiday memories for your family & friends this year ……
and remember that we feel the magic, we don’t buy it. Happy sewing friends! Tina
