Happy Halloween! Last week on Instagram we shared some of the process of making this fun mini quilt and it’s done just in time for Halloween. Read on to see the finished project!
The fabrics in this project are all designed by Janet Wecker Frisch. We used orange and black fabrics from her Old Made and Mad Masquerade collections. For the pumpkin stem we used Janet’s basic, Painter’s Watercolor Swirl, in the new Basil color. The background fabric is our Dapple Dot basic and we bound our quilt with black tone-on-tone Blossom. These fabrics all came together perfectly!
The pattern we used is called Pumpkin Mini Quilt by Amanda Niederhauser. It was so fun to make and came together really quickly. Shop her pattern below.
We did free motion machine quilting to finish the quilt with these fun, wonky spiderwebs! See how we made those in this Instagram video.
Thanks for following along and we hope you liked this project! Shop Janet Wecker Frisch Halloween fabric at your favorite local quilt shop and stay tuned for Virtual Quilt Market to see her next Halloween collection!
