Are you looking for a no-sew project that you will actually use? Look no further! We are in love these totally rad Beeswax Fabric Wraps featuring fabric from the Rainbowfruit collection designed by Amber Kemp-Gerstel of Damask Love.
These could not be easier to make. Perfect for kids and teens, and great for the environment! We used the FREE tutorial by Material Girl Quilts (tutorial found HERE), and in just 5 minutes, we had some handy fabric wraps ready to put to good use. Beeswax wraps aren’t new. They have been used in generations past when plastic bags weren’t available. As we begin to care more about generating less waste, these are a fantastic option to return to our repitoire.
The only supplies you need are fabric, beeswax pellets, parchment paper, an old towel, pinking shears (for cutting those zig zag edges, and an iron.
Use them to wrap cut up citrus and sandwiches, cover bowls and casserole dishes — you name it! And we have to admire the way the popsicle, sushi, and triangle prints brighten up a refrigerator! Get the complete Beeswax Fabric Wraps tutorial HERE!
