It’s Week 5 of the RBD Block Challenge, and we can’t wait to share another block with you today!
It has been so much fun creating alongside the rest of the quilting community, sharing progress, admiring fabric choices, and hopefully making new friends along the way.
Today’s block is called the Ocean Waves Block, and is brought to us by Rachel Erickson of Citrus & Mint Designs.
This is a great block for practicing and perfecting those half square triangles.
We love how the arrangement of half square triangles in this design really does look like ocean waves with a cool, modern, quilty twist. You can view & download Rachel’s block HERE.
The Ocean Waves block features a cool, coastal color palette of Lodge Pole, Cape Verde, and Le Creme. Fabric requirements and cutting instructions for this specific block can be found on the downloadable INSTRUCTION SHEET.
Take a look at Rachel’s Ocean Waves Block featuring fabric from her upcoming her fun Riptide collection. Cute! Be sure to follow Rachel on INSTAGRAM for more project ideas and inspiration featuring Riptide.
