It’s Week 6 of the RBD Block Challenge, and we’re excited to share another block with you today!
It has been so much fun creating alongside the rest of the quilting community, sharing progress, admiring fabric choices, and hopefully making new friends along the way.
Today’s block, the Windmill Block, is brought to us by Amy Smart of Diary of a Quilter. The entire block is made up of half square triangles. We are always amazed at the many pattern variations simple half square triangles can make. We love the sense of movement the half square triangles create in this Windmill Block. You can view download instructions for blocks 1-6 HERE.
Take a look at Amy’s Windmill Block featuring fabric from her newly released Notting Hill collection. Cute! Be sure to follow Amy on INSTAGRAM for more project ideas and inspiration featuring Notting Hill.
The Windmill Block features a soothing color palette of Oxford Blue, Dove, Canyon Rose, Bark, and Le Creme Confetti Cottons.
Fabric requirements and cutting instructions for this specific block can be found on the downloadable INSTRUCTION SHEET.
