Did you know that May is Mental Heath Awareness Month? We could all benefit from giving ourselves a little extra care and recognizing the impact that small things can have on our overall mental health.
Through the years we have often heard people say things like”sewing is my therapy”. While an activity like sewing is not a replacement for therapy or treatment when needed, it is a lovely support that many find help keep them feel calm, supported, and happy.
There are small things that you can do each day to take care of your mental health. This month, we invite you to participate in a 30 day challenge with us! We want to challenge you (and ourselves) to spend a few minutes each day to focus on your mental health.
How to Participate:
- Download or print out the challenge to track your progress (color and black and white copy available).
- Each day, choose one checklist item to complete. They don’t have to be in any kind of order, just choose what works for you that day.
- If you want to, share your activity on social media using #RBDsewingselfcare
We hope that working through this checklist will help you to be more mindful about your own mental health.
