Tara Reed here with another fun way to use fabric for your table!
While you can use any square napkin for this fold – paper or fabric – fabric napkins are so simple to make and bring the wow-factor up a level. This simple napkin-folding technique is perfect for Easter brunch or dinner, or any springtime gathering where you want to add a touch of whimsy and fun. With just a few minutes of practice, you’ll be able to create these adorable Easter basket folded napkins with ease.
I simply cut two 16″ squares, placed them right sides together, sewed, turned right side out, pressed and top stitched! See this blog post for more detailed instructions.
In this video, you’ll learn how to create a beautiful Easter basket folded napkin that will add a festive touch to your holiday table. Using just a few simple folds, you’ll transform an ordinary napkin into a charming basket that can hold Easter eggs or other small treats.
These baskets were made with 16″ fabric napkins made with my Easter Lily Fabric that coordinates with the April Fabric Placemat Panel I created for Riley Blake Designs.
The fabric napkins – in basket or any other form – coordinate perfectly with the Easter Placemats. Add extras like carrots, jelly beans and plastic eggs to add to your final tablescape – the possibilities are endless!
