Are you ready for a sneak peek? Today we’re sharing a preview of the much anticipated Cook Book collection designed by Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet.
Once again, Lori has created fabric prints inspired by her Grandma Millie and her great Aunts who were Isabelle, Marge, Edith, Jessie and Hazel. This new collection is all about cheerful vintage inspired prints that Lori’s grandma and her sisters would have used to sew useful and beautiful things for the heart of their homes…which was the kitchen. Lori remembers the colorful curtains, tablecloths, aprons, pot holders, embroidered dishtowels…and yes, quilts! All were lovingly made with their creative and willing hands.
Lori is known for curating vintage color palettes, and this is no exception. Cheerful shades of Cayenne, Denim, Sea Glass, Pewter, Daisy, and more fill the fabrics with timeless charm.
The Floral print features small clusters of monochromatic flowers, and while small, these are the largest scale florals in this collection. Floral will be available in Cottage (seen here) and Cayenne.
We’re obsessed with this fun little Luncheon print! Itty bitty flower pots, dinner plates, and a knife and fork create an adorable geometric design. Luncheon will be available in Sea Glass (seen here), and Coral.
We love ditsy florals and this one is at the top of our list! Blossom consists of tiny white blossoms with red centers and tonal leaves are randomly scattered over the surface of the fabric. Blossom will be available in Daisy (seen here) and Denim.
The Cook Book collection features three different fabric panels we know you’re going to love. The first is the very retro style Mums Apron. This home decor panel comes in three colors and is printed on lightweight canvas and features pieces and instructions to make an apron. The bonus 14″ vintage block would be perfect for making a pillow. Panel size is 36″ x 54″.
Next up is the sweet Kitchen Towel panel. This home decor panel comes in two color options and is printed on lightweight canvas and features pieces and instructions to make kitchen towels. Panel size is 36″ x 54″.
We all remember mom’s cozy casseroles, and every casserole needs a cute Casserole Carrier and Hot Pads, don’t you think? This home decor panel is printed on lightweight canvas and features pieces and instructions to make a casserole carrier and hot pads. Panel size is 36″ x 54″.
We can’t wait to start creating with Cook Book! We’re dreaming up quilts, aprons, table runners, bags and more. What will you make with Cook Book?
