We’re excited to share another sneak peek with you today! Water Mark, designed by Tammie Green of Studio T Green, is almost here and we can’t wait!
We asked Tammie about the inspiration behind this gorgeous collection, and here is what she had to say: “This collection has been inspired by my long-time passion of batik silk painting and ancient shibori dying techniques. The extensive natural colour palette of salt water blues and sandy natural tones inspires calmness and the relaxing notes of my local coastline. Organic patterns and brush marks create a free spirit impression with gentle design combinations. The Water Mark collection is a combination of relaxed fabrics, perfect for sewing projects to nurture the soul.
Tammie curated the most beautiful color palette ranging from the deepest blues, to soft gray, tan and white. Stunning!
Take a closer look at the breathtaking Main print. Sweeping brushstrokes look like shadows against the lighter blue backdrop, giving this fabric a dreamy nighttime vibe. The Main print will be available in Light Blue (seen here), Blue, and Gray.
We are completely smitten with the Flower print! Simple line drawn flowers intermingled with shadows of birds against a tonal backdrop gives this print a feeling of both artistry and subtlety. Flower will be available in Blue (seen here), Navy, and Coastal Blue.
We can’t get enough of the Milo print! This is one of those simple designs that works its way into your fabric stash as a necessary staple. The organic lines create visual interest and depth. Milo will be available in Gray (seen here), Navy, and Coastal Blue.
Need some project inspiration? Take a look at this beautiful “Bunch of Sunshine” quilt pattern by Tammie Green. The pattern incorporates classic quilt blocks with appliqué.
This “High Tide” quilt pattern, also designed by Tammie Green, plays with the coastal hues in this fabric line. Just as the beach goes from sand to light blues to the deepest blues, the modern wave design of this pattern does that same.
“Sawtelle” by Tammie Green beautifully pairs the flowing organic designs of the Water Mark collection with clean, modern lines. We love the use of white space to frame the fabrics and create new shapes and patterns. Brilliant!
We can’t wait to start creating with Water Mark. We’re dreaming up quilts, bags, apparel, pillows and more! What will you make with Water Mark?
