We are excited to share another sneak peek with you today! Wild at Heat, designed by Lori Whitlock, is arriving in September, and we can’t wait!
We love reading about the inspiration behind a fabric collection, and Wild at Heart is no exception. From designer, Lori Whitlock: “I love the great outdoors! One of my husband’s favorite things to do is to take me on wonderful adventures up in the mountains of central Utah. The beautiful scenery and the fresh mountain air filled with the scent of pine trees is something that truly makes me happy. Each fall, the whole family bundles up to make our traditional trek up the mountain to cut a fresh Christmas tree. The “Wild at Heart” collection was inspired by these mountainous adventures as it includes a fun array of outdoor motifs, including buffalo plaid, bears, moose, mountains, and pine trees. I’m hoping that you enjoy making projects with “Wild at Heart” and that it reminds you of a cozy trip into the mountains for some fresh air.”
Wild at Heart certainly does bring the outdoors in. The cozy, yet modern color palette of black, gray, red, and cream, features text, bears, snow-capped mountains, trees, maps, plaids and more!
We seriously can’t get enough of the bear print with its plaid, gingham, and woodgrain bears. This print also comes with a Cream and a Red background. Such a fun fabric!
This hand-drawn map print is loaded with adventure. We love the tiny roads, lakes with fish, campfires…and the moose!
Of course, we have to stop and admire this simple, modern pine tree motif. This print also comes in black and red. Cute!
We are so excited to start playing with these fabrics! We’re dreaming up quilts for adventures ages 0-99, pajamas, pillows, aprons, table runners, and more! What you will make with Wild at Heart?
