Today I am excited to show you this fun Snowball quilt block! I really love the simple look and versatility of this block.
Because it is called the Snowball, I decided to make one block to go with the icy winter theme. I chose four different cool blue tones.
I think a whole quilt made in this monochromatic blue color scheme would be beautiful!
For the second block, I opted for brighter colors.
I absolutely love this color combination! This would be so fun as a baby quilt. (Don’t look at my uneven seams – I’m still learning!)
So there you have it! The snowball was super easy to make, and Bonnie describes several variations you can do with this block to add interest to your quilts. Now that we know the basics, we can really start experimenting and having fun with our new skills!
