Today we’re sharing a sneak peek of Holly Holiday, the newest holiday collection designed by Christopher Thompson, aka, The Tattooed Quilter.
When asked about the inspiration behind Holly Holiday, Christopher said, “Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. There’s something so magical about the season. I remember writing letters to Santa, circling what I wanted in the Sears and JCPenney holiday catalogs, and wishing for the world to be alright. This collection, I hope, brings back those magical memories to you and all your sewing projects for the season.”
Christopher curated a bright, bold color palette of charcoal, red, green, and pink. Festive florals, jolly Santa faces, geometric trees, snowflakes, holly, and text prints have this collection overflowing with holiday cheer.
Take a closer look at the Santas print. Christopher created a diverse array of smiling, rosy-cheeked Santas that have all of us smiling, too. The white dots in the backdrop appear to be tiny little snowflakes. Santas will be available in (Basil, shown here), Petal Pink, and Red.
We are completely smitten with Christopher’s tiny Trees prints. These modern evergreens feature an ombré coloring starting with the lightest color at the top, and getting darker at the base. So fun! Trees will be available in Charcoal (shown here), White, and Rose.
The Greeting print is another fun text print we can’t live without. A simple repeat of the phrase “ho! ho! ho!” adorably echoes Santa’s unmistakable laughter. Brilliant! Greeting will be available in Pink (shown here), White, and Red.
We can’t wait to start creating with Holly Holiday! We’re dreaming up quilts, stockings, table toppers, aprons, pillows and more. What will you make with Holly Holiday?
