Today, we whipped up several pairs of Elastic Waistband Boxer Shorts to show you.
By using our 2″ wide Waistband Elastic, you save loads of time and frustration by skipping the traditional technique of sewing a channel and inserting elastic through it.
Riley Blake 2″ Waistband Elastic is super soft and stretchy. No scratchy, stiff elastic here!
The comfort level of this Waistband Elastic is a 10! Because of the 2″ thickness, this elastic won’t roll or pinch, but instead sits beautifully on the waist.

*To make these boxer shorts, we used this fabulous free pattern from Jessica Abbott on EHow. Please note that this pattern runs VERY small. We used a Women’s Small, which fit this 9 year old comfortably, so if using this pattern, be sure to check your sizing.
