Adel in Spring – Adding Tatting to Projects

Amanda of SEWING COTTON not only created a darling apron dress featuring Adel in Spring by Sandy Gervais of Pieces from My Heart, but she also learned a new and beautiful skill – tatting!

Amanda calls combining the delicate and feminine florals with a bit of tatted lace, a match made in textile heaven. We couldn’t agree more! The apron dress PATTERN from Children’s Corner Store perfectly matches this sweet collection.

If you’re new to tatting or need a refresher, don’t miss the useful tips & tricks Amanda reveals for successful tatting. How gorgeous is that tatting?!

When you look closer, you’ll see the charming piping Amanda included as well – non-stop cuteness happening here!

Everything you need to celebrate spring is included in this collection – a breezy floral main print with delightful leaves, berries, plaids, seeds, lacy stripes and more. The palette is abloom with green, lilac, buttercream, julep, aqua, heather, asparagus and blush.

Be sure to visit Amanda’s BLOG for photos and details about this dress and tatting, and don’t forget to follow her on Instagram @sewingcotton for more project ideas and inspiration.
