Everyone at the Snowberry Street house has been not-so-patiently waiting for this one to be finished. We’re in love! This American Dream collection by Dani Mogstad is the patriotic collection of my dreams! Not overtly Americana, but juuust right. Could really work well for a variety of themes. I’m tempted to make more quilts with this collection in just the reds and whites or blues and whites. Love it!
The pattern is Kaleidoscope by Lella Boutique. Has a fun little optical movement element which the kids (and adults) are enjoying! This pattern made me think of both flowers and fireworks making perfect sense for a summer quilt. I cut from yardage, but the pattern is Rolie Polie friendly!
I needed one more red print for this quilt and opted for a Texture basic in Barn Red which blended in perfectly. For the background and backing, Blossom basics in Uncle Sam and Oxford Blue did the trick!
