Basin Feedsacks – Chain Link Quilt

Good Morning! It is Jessica Dayon here today to share with you a new quilt I just finished making!  I was able to use the beautiful Basin Feedsacks by Stacy West of Buttermilk Basin. I absolutely adore 30s fabric and this collection is outstanding! Have a look at the gorgeous rainbow of nostalgic prints-

I chose to make a quilt pattern called Chain Link from the book- Link to the 30s: Making the Quilts We Didn’t Inherit. By the way, I just think that is the most perfect book title ever! The book has wonderful patterns that just make me want to grab more Basin Feedsacks and make them all!

The blocks were pretty simple and fun to make!

I loved how they turned out and got the top assembled quickly. This pattern uses prairie points and this was my first time making them so I was really anxious to get the quilt together and try my hand at them! I was happily surprised at how fun the prairie points were to make and they turned out great!

The Basin Feedsacks prints really shine in this quilt against the Confetti Cotton Riley White background. I chose to back the quilt in white also.

I hope I have given you some inspiration! Thank you so much for following along. You can find all of my projects, quilt alongs, and more on my blog and on Instagram @jessicadayon.
