Good Morning! Jessica Dayon, here, to share the quilt I made with the Celebrate with Hershey collection. This is such a fun collection showcasing Hershey’s halloween candy! I knew my kids would love a quilt with this. It pairs so great with any RBD Basic in Orange, Yellow, Black, and white print too!
There are loads of cute Halloween quilt patterns and so many of them are on my “to make” list. For this project, I decided to use a pattern called Autumn Tails by Julie Weaver for Annie’s Catalog. We have black cat and I though that would make this quilt really special and cute at the same time!
I made each of the pumpkins in the same way. In addition to the orange prints from Celebrate with Hershey, I used Sparkler in Pumpkin, and Texture in Chocolate. I decided to omit the leaves from the pattern because I liked it with just the stem for my quilt.
For each cat, I used a different black from from the Celebrate with Hershey collection, except for the main print which I used twice.
For the background of my quilt, I used Pin Dot in Halloween. For the black portions of the blocks, I used Blossom in Black.
I’m so happy with how this quilt turned out! My kids are thrilled with it and excited to use it this Halloween. Thank you for following along! You can find more of my projects on my blog.
