While I’ll never pass up the opportunity to build a snowman there is something magical about snowmen at Christmas.
When my son was little my parents lived by Lake Tahoe so the family often gathered at their house for Christmas, skiing and building snowmen. My favorite memory was from 1998 when my son was 5 – he was so determined to build a snowman on the deck no matter what! He couldn’t have been prouder of the resulting snow pile complete with a carrot nose, rock eyes and mouth and skewer arms.
While snowmen may only last a little while in physical form, their memories are forever. May these cozy flannel snow folks bring back fond memories and be a part of new ones. Happy Holidays!
