Today’s stop on our Christmas Adventure Project Tour takes us to QUILTING FOR 4 on YouTube, where Andrea is sharing her fabulously festive The Sweater Quilt featuring fabric from the Christmas Adventure collection designed by Beverly McCullough of Flamingo Toes.
Isn’t it gorgeous?! We love the rows of stars and squares that mimic the look of a classic knit sweater.
Andrea pulled more from the blue, pink and red colors to create a somewhat non-traditional holiday look, and it works! The result is bright, fun, and totally festive!
Just look at those tiny strings of Christmas lights! The gold sparkle in this collection unifies the various prints. You can see the gold sparkle in the Christmas light strings, the outline of the little circle shaped ornaments, the tiny lines running through the argyle diamonds, the snowflakes and more.
Andrea backed her quilt with a lush minky fabric, and is sharing a VIDEO TUTORIAL showing us how to bind a quilt with a minky backing. You won’t want to miss this video as she takes all of the mystery out of this crucial step in quilt construction!
