Today’s stop on our Destinations Project Tour takes us to SLICE OF PI QUILTS, where Laura is sharing her FABulous California Appliqué Quilt featuring fabric from the Destinations collection by Anderson Design Group.
We are always amazed at the creativity in the quilting community, and this super cool quilt by Laura is the perfect example. Laura cut letters from the various scenes in the California fabric panel and used appliqué to create this retro postcard looking quilt. Wow!
We are loving all of the little scenes in each letter! Airplanes, surfers, boardwalks, and waves….this is so fun! Laura walks us step-by-step through her process so any reader can follow her technique to make their very own postcard quilt.
