Today’s stop on our Dream Project Tour takes us to DEVOTED QUILTER, where Leanne is sharing her Divided Quilt featuring fabric from the Dream collection designed by Kristy Lea of Quiet Play.
Leanne used an assortment of pink and purple prints from the Dream collection for her orange peel appliqué, and pulled in the aqua Scatter Love print for her divider strip and binding. She used Black Blossom as her background. FABulous!
Kristy used a simple raw edge appliqué technique to secure the orange peel pieces. We love the freeform scribble stitching as it adds a fun pop of character to the quilt.
Sometimes a quilt back is as fun to look at as the quilt front. Leanne’s orange peel stitching paired with the tiny stippling created a gorgeous design that can best be seen by turning the quilt over. Beautiful!
