We have a super fun FREE PATTERN to share with you today featuring fabric from our popular National Parks collection!
The National Tours Pattern uses the National Parks pillow panels and coordinating prints, along with Riley Blake Confetti Cottons. We made two different quilts: one using Yellowstone fabric panels, and the other using Glacier National Park fabric panels.
As you can see, you can easily drop in panels for your favorite National Park. Adjust the solid fabric to match, and you are on your way!
We love the fun bear claw blocks in this quilt! The perfect choice for a National Parks themed quilt!
The Glacier panels were quilted with straight lines on the diagonal, created a lovely windowpane effect.
The borders around the panels were quilted with a simple swirly design. Perfect!
We used the Map print in Sand for the quilt back.
Here you can see the different quilting on our Yellowstone version. This time, the quilter followed the chevron pattern on the borders for a dramatic effect.
