Grove – “Rub-Off” Ruffle Apron

Today’s stop on our Grove Project Tour takes us to SNOWBERRY STREET, where Laurel is sharing her Ruffle Apron featuring fabric from the Grove collection by Jill Finley.

Laurel used the rub-off technique to create this beauty. A rub-off is where you take an existing garment or item and trace it to create a pattern for a new item. This is often done by garment makers, but can also be done with upholstery and other items. Laurel did an amazing job with this apron, don’t you think? We are loving those ruffles and the lemon slice accents! Visit Laurel on INSTAGRAM for more photos and details, and be sure to follow her for more project ideas and inspiration.

Grove, by Jill Finley, is available now at your favorite local and online quilt shops. Pick up yours today and share your makes with us on Instagram using #grovefabric, #rileyblakedesigns, #iloverileyblake, and tag us @rileyblakedesigns.
