We’re visiting TAREN STUDIOS today, where Allie is sharing two FABulous quilts featuring fabric from the Harmony collection designed by Melissa Lee.
This first quilt is called Connection Point, and it’s easy to see why. Modern circles are connected by dashes, creating tons of visual interest while the circles do a fantastic job of highlighting the unique prints and gorgeous colors in the Harmony fabric line.
A closer look reveals the rich colors, florals, and deer. Allie used Lori Holt’s Bee Backgrounds for the low volume background fabric. We love how the subtle teal color of the Bee Background print adds texture and pulls the design together.
Allie’s second quilt is called Painted Tiles. Circles play a central role in this quilt as well, but you’ll notice the circles feature the low volume print, while the background is bold and saturated. Such a fun reversal!
