Hi Creative Cohorts! It’s Tina again coming at you after the whirlwind that was February! Sometimes after a hectic or busy time I love to make a small palette cleansing project like this Dice Bag by Mindy Makes. This adorable fabric line called Hibiscus by Simple Simon and Company for Riley Blake Designs was a great fit with adorable novelty prints I was happy to leave whole.

This fabric feels very now with a lovely mustard color and the trendy terrazo prints- can you imagine one of these as a background fabric for a quilt! I can and it looks absolutely dreamy!
I was impressed with Mindy’s pattern for an ingenious way to make a flat square bottom bag that stands up without interfacing or anything!
Checkout this lining fabric- cotton no starch, standing up all by itself!
Mindy Makes does offer a paid version of this bag in a few more sizes and color blocked!

I quite like how these turned out and plan to make a few more! Great to tuck gifts into, and send sweet treats around to friends.
If you’re in need of a quick little project I’ll hope you check out this pattern, and the Hibiscus fabric line!
Happy Sewing!
-Tina
