Today’s stop on our Hidden Cottage Project Tour takes us to TAREN STUDIOS, where Allie is sharing two fabulous quilts featuring fabric from the Hidden Cottage collection designed by Minki Kim.
The first quilt, Modern Chalet (pattern found HERE), is a fun play on the classic patchwork quilt. The white sashing separates the squares and creates almost a stained glass look with a truly modern vibe.
The deep Forest Green really jumps out here, while still playing nicely with the softer colors in the Hidden Cottage line. Beautiful!
Next up is the fun Hex is Gone quilt (pattern found HERE), made up entirely of hexagon shapes — each with a wedge missing. Such a fun spin on the traditional hexagon quilt!
Here, you can see some of the detail in the whimsical Hidden cottage fabrics — tiny flowers, chicks, and gingham check. Again, our eye is drawn to that gorgeous Forest Green, which Allie repeated on the quilt back. Gorgeous!
